The Kolkata Sanved dancers have begun their intensive workshop with dancer and choreographer Mafalda Deville of the London-based Jasmin Vardimon Company. Since Saturday, December 31st, the dancers have been learning unique choreography while exploring principles of improvisation and movement generation.
As the workshops continue in preparation for our March trip to London and performance at Sadler's Wells, we will discover how artistic collaboration can be used as a powerful tool for cultural understanding and human rights advocacy. Photos provide a glimpse into the creative process.
